THE
PROBLEM AND THE SOLUTION

We must
be willing to change our thinking, which ultimately gives us, the potential of
changing our present course in the scheme of future human history as so-called
African Americans and/or people of African descent (who are an unjustly
ridiculed and despised people). I read a very insightful book, that was first
published in 1994, it was referred to me by a personal friend named Daniel
Brown; the book no doubt, was eye awakened. So I am going start this cyberspace
classroom discussion off by given a brief review and perspective on a book titled,
“Tribes: How Race, Religion and Identity Determine Success in the New
Global Economy” authored by Joel Kotkin.
The author explores the cultural dynamics of the Chinese, Japanese, British, Indians, Jews,
etc., (and other ethnic and racial groups who have maintained a cultural
dominance and a significant global presences wherever they have landed on the
planet). And how these groups of people have used their collective culture to
create external homogenous societies and although, living outside of their
native countries and territories, as they have migrated to different parts of
the world, they have remained unified. Their neo-geographical reality, has starling similarities to the ‘old
country’ in which their culture is seen
as the basis to empowering them, as they seek economic and social mobility
living in Diaspora lands—but relying on native culture models to create a
unified cohesiveness allowing them to assimilate the type of foods, diets and
cuisines, etc., that were associated in their native countries (the enculturation process as a social
phenomenon has had minimum affect in altering the customs of these people that Kotkin
explores in the book). The author Kotkin, even writes about how these nomadic
ethnic and racial groups continue to embrace their religious traditions, thus, again always looking for ways to maintain culture normalcy (evolving around
subculture tenets) along with group cohesiveness.
I know that African-Americans have
a unique historical experience of being robbed and denied of their humanity for
310 years, which constituted being kidnapped from Africa, that destroyed their
rights to their native lands, stripped of their native languages, robbed of
their surnames, forced to embrace the Christian religion of their
slave masters and perpetrators, denied the right to embrace their African
culture, and mores' in which no other people on the earth have experienced this
level of dehumanization (this was the greatest crime ever committed against humanity). However,
the above “Tribes” that Kotkin refers to have become a global village wherever
their migration have taken them on the planet because of understanding the power of rallying
around their culture and heritage—this alone has created a close knit kinship
with other tribesmen who shares a common ethnicity and a common nationality in
spite of geographical location; using their commonality to build a real sense
of community and ethnic solidarity in foreign countries.
I am not optimistic that enslaved
people of African descent will ever be able overcome their collective
devastation and recuperate their culture, because of the lasting affect of the
brainwashing process and the past brutality of Chattel Slavery (1555-1865). White
Supremacy was a ruthless system of control; it has even affected the DNA of our
unborn linage and many of them exit the womb of the black Goddess of the
Universe with a slave mentality; the evidence of Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome
still lingers three centuries later in the black community and has produced an
everlasting psychosis (we must call on the ancestors to help us overcome our
present day predicament). Tom Burrell gives us an intellectual start with his monumental book titled, "Brainwashing: Challenging the Myth of Black Inferiority". There is no simple answer
to our political, economic and social crisis, but I must say, it is imperative, that we commit ourselves to a real study process (rooted in
discovering the knowledge of self as the first step to rediscovering our
historical and culture identity); and we must possess an inter quest to do the
research, in particular having a willingness to research ideas that
are outside of Western academia, as well as having an openness to embrace
unconventional knowledge.
But what
I teach, allows you to thaw out and hopefully come alive and
awakened in your minds—I humble
myself in saying this; what I have learned over the years did not occur by
osmosis or by some magical Houdini act nor in a college or university setting,
but to reach a certain intellectual and knowledge plateau required many
hours of reading and researching, as well as allowing myself to be in spaces
that were conducive to learning (traveling, libraries, museums, book stores,
engaging in Internet forums and being involved in conscious centered study
groups) where knowledge was being taught; as well as sitting down and
listening to elders (Babas and Master Teachers) and internalizing their life
wisdom. I also have literally spent thousands of dollars on books and built my
library from scratch by far the most valuable treasure in my home—yes I still
have physical books and as much as I have embraced the new technology of
publishing and writing—trust me there is nothing like physically touching and
reading a book, it has a sense of sacredness—sorry E-Books and Kindles are just

Many so-called African American brothers and sisters often tells me that they cannot afford spending money on books and knowledge (but here is the contradiction; blacks as a demographic we spend huge amounts of money on tobacco and alcohol— we are the number one consumers of death). Yet, we had a Gross Domestic Product (GNP) of over 1.2 trillion dollars last year relative to purchasing power, which means, if we were a sovereign and independent nation of people, we would have the 13th largest economy in the world (no excuse for our poorness, we have money). However, we have been systematically reduced to consumers—look at most of our big money athletes and entertainers, they are foolish with their money and earnings and this is why the black community looks like a ghost town with very little black owned businesses (Reference: Jawanza Kunjufu; "Black Economics: Solutions for Economic and Community Empowerment"). We have failed to get up and do something for ourselves like other civilized people—and this is why I loved Booker T. Washington, Father Divine, Daddy Grace, Marcus Garvey and Elijah Muhammad—they taught the importance of thriftiness and economic enterprise. The best analysis of of understanding our wealth and our economic forecast was authored by Claud Anderson in his book titled, "Black, Labor White Wealth: The Search for Power and Economic Justice" and in his other book titled, "Powernomics: The National Plan to Empower Black America."

Who are
the agents, bankers, lawyers, financial planners, (the money
changers), etc., of our athletes and entertainers? Surely, they often
do not look like you and I. And we are praising these fools such
as Jay-Z, Beyonce, Russell Simmons, P. Diddy,
5Oth Cent, Kevin Hart, Charlie Wilson, Denzel Washington, LeBron
James, Master-P, Kanye West, Kevin Durant, Robert
Griffin III, Floyd Mayweather, Oprah Winfrey, Michael
Jordan, Tyler Perry, etc., (all of them are slaves and are controlled by
outsiders) and even Irvin 'Magic' Johnson who has proven himself to
have much better business savvy than the average athlete and has stood out as a
formidable entrepreneur—he too
takes his marching orders from those much higher up on the money chain than
himself. But even his personal success doesn't really trickle down
to collective group success (he and they still have to answer to master and
boss). Many of them have never heard of Reginald
F. Lewis, a self-made millionaire whose life story is documented in an autobiography titled, "Why Should White Guys Have All the Fun? How Reginald
Lewis Created a Billion-Dollar Business Empire" one of bright lights out
of Baltimore , Maryland America ”
and another good source is Napoleon Hill’s monumental book titled, “Think and
Grow Rich”.
The
majority of our black entertainers and black athletes have no political or
social conscious, they do not claim to be followers of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X (El- Hajj Malik Shabazz) and they definitely are not willing to sacrifice anything—their instant
celebrity success immediately causes many of them to detach themselves
from their own people. They often take an apolitical position, while their
community suffers and dies a slow death. This is why in the 1980s, I fell in
love with the Hip-Hop/ rappers Public Enemy Number One and
KRS-1, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Big Daddy Kane, etc.,
but when the Zionist Jews got behind Chuck-D, he buckled under Zionist pressure
and left Professor Grif out there to dry (Grif were allegedly accused of making some type of
anti-Semitic remarks, which led to the demise of one of the most controversial
Hip Hop groups in American history) and the anti-Semitism
accusations forced the group to compromise their position and afterwards, they could
never regain their former glory (I think part of the attack on Public Enemy was
because of their close alliance to Minister Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of
Islam). Chuck-D tried to redeem himself in his book titled, “Fight the Power:
Rap, Race and Reality” but he had sold out and had lost his credibility with
the Black Nationalist community. Now, to those that are little older Public Enemy took there social conscious approach from another controversial group of the 1960s and 1970s called the Last Poets. They sung defiant social spoken word lyrics and stood as one of the musical voices who embraced the Black Power Movement--that was rooted in militant and revolutionary rebellion. Also, Gill Scott Heron was the master of social conscious rap and all other social and political Hip-Hop artists owe a debt of gratitude to the Last Poets and Gill Scott Heron.
Our money
class and their wealth leaves outside the so-called African American
community and this abandonment is partially responsible for the demise of the
black community along with the corrupt black politicians. For example,
Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr., was recently convicted of wire and mail
fraud and initially was sentenced to FCI Butner, NC and later transferred to Federal Prison Camp Montgomery, Alabama (camp fed country club) due a disciplinary matter; former New
Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin, he
was convicted on twenty-one charges of wire fraud, bribery, and money
laundering related to bribes from city contractors before and after Hurricane
Katrina; former Mayor of Washington DC and my man, Marion Barry
was a crack head who served federal prison time, but has earned the title
“Mayor for Life of DC"; former Mayor of Detroit Kwame Kirkpatrick who was
involved in conspiracy and racketeering and is serving a long term federal
Prison sentence (this young brother had a promising career ahead of him, but
threw it all way using his mayoral office to commit all types of abuse of power
allegations; former Mayor of Atlanta Bill Campbell served federal time for
government corruption, just recently the Mayor of the biggest city in
North Carolina; Charlotte's Mayor Patrick Cannon was indicted on
charges of bribery and corruption; the former Mayor of Trenton, New
Jersey Tony F. Mack, Sr., was arrested after being the subject
of an FBI investigation into bribery, fraud, extortion and money laundering;
former Louisiana Congressman William Jefferson was convicted in
November 2009 of corruption and bribery, money laundering and host of
other conspiracy charges in which involved the FBI finding over $90,000 of
illicit money frozen in his freezer; former Mayor of Newark, New Jersey Sharpe James on April 16, 2008, James was convicted of five counts of fraud by a federal jury and was subsequently sentenced to 27 months in prison. Many of our black elected officials
have betrayed the political aspirations of the people and are often
victims of money, sex and lies. They are in the political game for all the
wrong reasons. I cite these examples because we need a new leadership those who
truly look to serve with integrity and I do not mean, no damn bootlicking, ass
kissing Uncle Toms Negroes; they are good for severing the interest of others.
The Black
Panther Party for self-Defense under Huey Newton and Bobby Seale in the 1960s
and 1970s—had feeding programs which served free breakfast and free lunch to
black children, as well as offered free health care clinics and educational
training of our children. The Black Panther Party did not look for the United
States Government to bankroll their programs and their Ten Point Plan is still
a viable blue print to moving the black community towards independence (we must
have a government that we can call our own). But these new Negro politicians
are corrupted to the core and this is why it is difficult to expect
the young black gangbangers (I am friends with many of the black gang members
in Durham, NC and have honorary status in one of them) to change their violent
and destructive behavior because they have poor examples in front of them. The
black politicians are stickup boys themselves and are criminals dressed up in
business suits and neckties; using public office and tax money to engage
in all manner of criminal activity. Moreover, just recently the Federal Bureau
of Investigation revealed that Reverend Al Sharpton was once a government
snitch (who was on the FBI payroll) and a paid informant who worked as an agent
provocateur so-called against the Italian Mafia in New York—he must have been a
double agent because they would have been found this Negro headless floating in
the Hudson River, If had truly crossed the Mafia. But this ‘Negro’
proclaims himself as the black spokesman for all so-called 'Negroes' in America
or at least the white media has elevated this ‘Negro’ to the status of leader
over Black America (let me put white folk on notice Al Sharpton is not the
leader of black America).
Al Sharpton
(he got what he wanted—he is on the television news network of MSNBC and has a syndicated radio program, which has given him the spotlight and visibility he needed to
promote himself and his National Action Network organization)). This cat is about getting paid and
promoting his own agenda and using black folk as a stepping stone. He promotes
himself as the leadership successor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., but
Sharpton was a little boy when Dr. King led SCLC in the early 1960s and he
definitely was not the heir apparent to King nor was Jesse Jackson. They have
turned this 'Negro' into a Hugo Boss and Brooks Brothers window dressing puppet
(give me back the old fat Al and trust me Sharpton has been around militant and
black conscious struggle in New York for many years and he knows the truth, but
his love for materialism and things have led to him completely selling out
black folk for a big bucket of fried chicken and a butter biscuit with some
molasses). The above examples of black politicians that I have cited have
destroyed the integrity of our community; many of them are petty thieves who
have not read the U.S. Government Cointelpro program (counter intelligence
program instituted by former FBI director J. Edgar Hoover in the 1950s, but
Hoover early on in his law enforcement career was a federal agent who also prosecuted our leader Marcus Mosiah Garvey
in the 1920s) and the FBI history of eavesdropping, illegally
wiretapping, infiltrating black leaders inner circles by sending agent
provocateurs to coerce and create entrapment nets—many of them are
indicted and sentenced to Federal Prison for conspiracy, embezzlement, abuse of
government power, racketeering, etc., because of greed and are willing to
commit unethical criminal acts. They are unfamiliar with U.S. Government
strategies and tactics under Cointelpro and now they have even more leeway
under auspice of Homeland Security, National Defense Authorization Act and the U.S. Patriot Act. Perhaps many African Americans are not willing to accept the notion that President Barack Obama has been one of the most dangerous and reactionary presidents that we have had in recent United States history.
Moving
right along, I detest poverty, because I believe that there are enough resources to
ensure the basics of food, clothing and shelter could be adequately met to
satisfy the needs of humanity (there are enough resources on the planet to
adequately meet the needs of the entire globe). The root of poverty, is greed; this
creates a varied of reactionary symptoms and is the root of human suffering whereas
95% of the world’s wealth is controlled by 1% of the population. This Elitist
segment sees the planet as belonging to themselves, it'is this disparity that
causes national and global hunger, in particular amongst Developing Nations (use
to be referred to as ‘Third World Nations’). This disparity causes people to
have to live in substandard conditions because their economy has been
systematically depressed and often their currency is devalued by Western
Governments who are members of the G-8 and G-20 Nations. I do think that there
are hidden secret societies and Orders that are bent on globally
controlling the world (hastily moving us towards a One World Government and a New World Order). I think Adam Weishaupt, the founder of the Illuminati in
1776, was a Freemason and he saw a way to use Masonry or duplicate the
level of secrecy and concealment to establish a much more sinister society
called the Illuminati (many have tried to connect Freemasonry to being a Secret
Society, it is not, if anything Freemasonry serves as a unknowing Front
for the global rulers).
There
is a very powerful small minority of Power Brokers who possess
dynastic wealth and a long established Elitist and Aristocratic
blood linage; For example, the Rothschilds, Rockefellers, Oppenheimers,
DeBeers, etc., have used their hording of the world's wealth and resources
to dominate the world. They ultimately decide wars, famines, the money markets,
etc., and use the likes of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund
to carry out these hidden agendas (and if that do not work they use the most power Central Bank located in Basil, Switzerland which is the mother of Central Banks known as the Bank of International Settlement to control and manipulate global currency). The world's wealth is in the hands of
the 1% and they one level systematically uses international banking and the likes of
the Federal Reserve and the Bank of England to wreck havoc on humanity
politically, economically and socially. So the Illuminati, is controlling
national and global affairs from powerful organizations such as the Bilderberg,
Trilateral Commission and the Council on Foreign Relations (Reference: Tony Brown; "Empower the People: Overthrow the Conspiracy that is Stealing Your Wealth and Freedom").
Jay-Z and the
Hip-Hop community are not real members of this powerful group called the
Illuminati (for someone to even suggest this is a clear indication of their
ignorance to how and who shapes world affairs), they will not invite these Hip
Hop artist Moguls in the same room with the Dynastic Robber Barons; as powerful
as you think Russell Simmons is, he does
not have the economic or political clout to sit in the same room with the
‘Roundtablers’ I have read his books titled, “Do You! 12 Laws To Access The
Power In You To Achieve Happiness and Success” and his book titled, “Life and
Def: Sex. Drugs + God” but he is just considered a ‘Negro’ mover and shaker—there
is a distinct difference between him and lets say the Rothschilds, it is
ridiculous, for me to mention them in same breath. These men, I am talking about are
written of in a book written by John Coleman titled, "The Committee
of 300" and a book written by Gary Allen and Larry Abraham
titled, "None Dare Call it Conspiracy" or William Cooper's book,
"Behold a Pale Horse". Some of the other Orders mentioned are
dealt with in David Icke's book the "The Biggest Secret" he
deals with a lot of orders other than just Freemasonry.
There
must be a redistribution of the world’s wealth with the world’s people; this is
the only true solution to ending poverty. The disparity phenomenon creates a
vicious cycle and it determines other nations Gross National Products (GNP) and
even in the United States, one of the most industrialized nations in the world,
poverty and hunger still remains an issue—there has been in the recent years
and increase of people being forced to live in homeless shelters and eat their
meals at soup kitchens (the gap between the haves and the ‘have nots’ continues
widen). Yet, our U.S. Government, in particular our U.S. Congress has become more
conservative and anti poor—social programs are being cut and the poor are being
politically scapegoat for causing the political, economic and social issues
plaguing the United States. It was Hurricane Katrina in 2005, that exposed that
there were actually two Americas—poor and black, and white and privileged (the media gave
the public a firsthand look at how poor people in New Orleans lived in
conditions equalvent to “Third World Nations”. If you recall President George W. Bush even called the displaced blacks in New Orleans during the Katrina crisis 'refugees' (the term itself being used by the U.S. commander-in-chief was a clear indication that black people were not viewed as full 'Americans' and gave the indication that we did not have the freedoms and rights to crossover into other border states as though the other 49 states were sovereign territories, perhaps another subject for another time). Bush's choice of language was post 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments to the United States Constitution. The Hurricane Katrina scene was shocking to most
Americans because they did not know and could not believe that level of poverty
existed inside the United
States of America , in particular in the ‘Big
Easy’. The Katrina scene was also despicable and was a clear indication that America
had failed its people. The author Andrew Hacker offers a very good analysis of America and her history of racial inequality in his book titled,"Two Nations: Black and White, Separate, Hostile, Unequal."
The poor
even after President Lyndon Baines Johnson’s War on Poverty, American and the
Great Society—some forty-Five to fifty years later, a great deal of the
American people still lived in substandard conditions. Many work minimum wage jobs, (classified by sociologist as the working poor), lacked education, lived
in public housing or were part of some housing arrangement (Section VIII) where
the government subsidized the rent, and many have minor aged children, where there
are no fathers presence; and mothers are forced to raise their children in
single parented homes (this further complicates dysfunctional family structures
and continues the cycle of poverty and disillusionment). The once blue collar and non-skilled jobs are
readily fading out (and most Americans are not technologically educated and under qualified to
take advantage of the high tech jobs and American corporations have to find a
foreign labor pool to fill these type demands) and U.S. corporate businesses have abandoned
the American people by outsourcing and downsizing their corporate interest by
finding cheaper labor and markets across seas. This social phenomenon in my
opinion, has given rise to the Prison Industrial Complex where cities and towns
across America
have become the homes of privatizes corporate prisons. The United States
has over seven (7) million people incarcerated, perhaps more than any other
industrialized nation in the world. The corporate outsourcing of part of the U.S. economy to Asia, Central and South America
have allowed capitalist to exploit overseas markets, which negative impacts the
job market and the U.S.
economy. The earth is 196, 940,000 square miles and 57, 255, 000 square miles
of it is land and it is our job to secure some of this good earth for
ourselves.
I have
always looked at leadership from the realm of service and I have in a small
way modeled myself after studying examples such as Mahatma
Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Nelson Mandela, etc., (great humanitarians). Thus, what made them great were their commitment to
unselfishness towards serving humanity and they all were committed to
working to see that all people experience a level of freedom, justice and
equality. They protested and detested poverty and wealth disparities,
challenged the status quo by speaking truth to power and they themselves were
not moved by materialism. They were only motivated by the principles
of love and used love to overcome hate. I want to pay it forward by
working to becoming the best human being that I could become and using the rest
of my life committed to doing good (in honor of Jesus and Muhammad servants of
God). But whatever I do in life forward it will always be centered on service.
Negro
preachers will organize and raise millions of dollars to build
a sanctuary, but will not spearhead efforts to revitalize and
build black businesses (Jesus taught us that the true temple of God

Since our sojourn begin in this country over 450 years ago, we have been relegated to marginal success politically, economically and socially. Yes, may be, if we change the energy frequency (by elevating to a higher energy level) relative to evolving our indoctrination process, perhaps I will remain optimistic that we can progressively move forward and sway our people to continue to use religion for the collective good of our people (trust me, I know that black folk love religion and I do not think this will ever change)—praying, worshiping, singing, dancing, attending bible study, etc., these are religious staples in our community, but as we work to turn up the energy frequency may be this will lay a positive future road map for generations to come. The
so-called American ‘Negro’ have allowed outsiders to manipulate their
wealth; they have reduced the so-called American ‘Negro’ into a Reality
T.V. junkie (keep them engaged in nonsense and inconsequential distractions) and the wickedly wise (10% Bloodsuckers of the poor) who
controls all media and propaganda not only controls their thinking, but they
have manipulated their money and wealth in order to economically enhance
themselves. Moreover, creating long term generational wealth for their future
generations while our black entertainers and athletes often die broke and
squandered their money to the detriment of themselves and the black masses who are
referred to as the eighty-fivers —I recently read a heart breaking story on former
NBA star Allen Iverson, a future Hall of Fame Basketball player who made over
200 million dollars and now is broke and financially strapped. This is what
prompted me to write this article. These masterminds desire to appeal to our
willingness to always look to be entertained (and in most cases entertain
them) and the Bloodsuckers of the poor create Hollywood images that promotes
buffoonery and gives us negative images that
keeps the chain and ball around our minds. Blacks or so-called
African American (for clarity people have asked me why do I preference African
American or Black with 'so-called') because I do not accept these racial and
ethnic classifications given to us by our former enslavers—I see my people as
the Original People of the earth who have no beginning nor ending;
their origin is older than the sun, moon and stars. The Original man’s origin
is older than time itself. Some claim we originated as Moors and are
descendants of Morocco ;
I am sorry to inform my Moorish brothers that our biological linage is connected
to God himself. I cannot wear any ethnic or nationality identification labeling
me Moorish American; I can accept the Moorish part but I am not an American.
My
ancestors did not arrived to these shores through the immigration gates of Ellis
Island and the United States Customs ports were closed to my ancestors (my ancestors arrived in the holes of slave ships), it will
always be the European immigrants that view the welcoming of the French
Government humanitarian words inscribed on the Statue of Liberty as being of the
highest esteemed, but speaking on behalf of my African ancestors they view the below
words written by Emma
Lazarus as the epitome of hypocrisy: "Give me your tired, your poor, your
huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming
shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside
the golden door!" (Reference: Tim Wise: White Like Me: Reflections on Race From a Privileged Son). I do not see the
Statue of Liberty as a symbol of humanity and standing as a representation of freedom which overlooks the Hudson River and the ports of New Jersey and New
York City, however, this so-called symbol of freedom, liberty and liberation did not include my people. I see this monument from the lens and eyes of an ex-slave. I can
only visualized the pain, suffering and despair my people must of have
experienced over three centuries of brutality and dehumanization. Their welcoming
to the Americas were the horrid trip called the Middle Passage a crossed the Atlantic Ocean—the
slave whips, rapes, chains, beatings, deaths, plantations, free labor and reduced
to the level of a beast. I can only weep when I see the condition that Chattel
Slavery has left my people in—robbed of our humanity. I cannot pledge alliance
to a government and flag of the United
States of America , which is dripped in blood
and is a historical symbol of oppression, suffering and death. I
equally cannot give my allegiance to the United States Constitution, a document
that wrote the so-called black man and woman in as 3/5 of a human being. Yes,
they amended the constitution but the damage heaped on 40-50 million blacks can
