HEALTH, DIET, NUTRITION AND WELLNESS: THINGS WE DON'T LIKE TO TALK ABOUT

HEALTH, DIET, NUTRITION AND WELLNESS: THINGS WE DON'T LIKE TO TALK ABOUT

Peace: family and friends, I am always searching and looking for topics and issues that relates and impact the African American community (I found no topic more fitting than to discuss Health, Nutrition, Diet and Wellness). Some of my immediate family members and even close friends have had some serious health challenges and I can remember being in the  hospital with a very close relative of mine during a major heart surgery and my daughter told me that her mom, which is my wife had posted a photo of this family member on Facebook. She was being transparent about this close relative health a little more than I wanted her to be, but she thought that by posting this particular health situation on social media, it would inform those in the black community of need to become more health conscious. It was her way of keeping people updated with this personal matter, it was a honorable thing to do, because many in the black community had personal relations with this brother and friend. I got that but I have always felt health was something personal and I still struggle with aspects of being transparent even with my wife and my family in this area.

I would be remised, if I did not briefly mention the loss of one of the greatest natural healers in the world named Dr. Sebi who was assassinated in a Honduras, Central America jail. Dr. Sebi was a homeopathic specialist who was a master of herbal science and natural medicine, he was accused in the State of New York of practicing medicine without a license and was indicted in a federal court and his cased made all the way to the Supreme Court. The allegations were that he had falsely cured patients of AIDS and stage four cancer by using herbal and natural treatments and therapies, which went against occidental medicine. Dr. Sebi demonstrated proof that indeed he had cured black people from various diseases and he was one of the few natural healers who took on the American Medical Association and the conglomerate pharmaceutical companies (legal complaints against Dr. Sebi were initial filed by United States Department of Agriculture and the Center For Disease Control) and won standing on the medicinal principles of herbal and natural healing as being effective treatments. This past May 2016, Sebi who was 82 years of age and was reentering Honduras where he was a  naturalized citizen (I do think Dr. Sebi had dual citizenship) and he had declared $27,000 USD, but he was arrested on charges of money laundering and placed in a depilated jail in a 'third world' country (poor food, poor living condition and plenty of prison corruption). Honduras officials had a previous charge on Dr. Sebi of  so-called smuggling in $55,000 USD, which had been adjudicated, but they attempted to run these two cases concurrent. We do know this much Dr. Sebi the Natural Healer died in the custody of the Honduras Government of so-called complications from pneumonia (now, for the record Dr. Sebi was more than capable of dealing with a mucous virus). I think there was some foul play in Dr. Sebi's death the powers-that-be did not want people being cured and healed from cheaper natural therapies. We should call for President Barack Obama and the U.S. Justice Department and the State Department to open up an investigation into the Honduran Government and truly find out what happened to Dr. Sebi.

Now, before I delve into this topic on health, diet, nutrition and wellness let me say a few words to my African American brothers; brothers listen to your wives and get up and go get those annual physicals (we as black men must take better care of ourselves)--prostrate cancer (we should get regular PSA screenings) is killing us at a very high rate and, if you are over 50 years of age (black men hate to go to the doctor until we are almost dead) get a colonoscopy from a natural homeopathic doctor or specialist, because colon cancer is taking us out as well. To my beautiful Nubian Queens stay on us, because you need your husbands and your children need their fathers. If you do not know this by now many of us are walking a round having the silent killer high blood pressure (Hypertension), but you can cure yourselves with a vegan diet, exercising and making better life choices (brothers give up the smoking, alcohol, and the drugs lets start right there). Lets make commitment to changing our life styles, so that we can have life and life more abundantly. There is no room for big ego machoism and/or exercising male testosterone in this equation our health could be a matter of life and death.

I just wanted to thank those family members and friends who prayed for a family member of mine during the time of him being hospitalized and I still remain more than grateful for the outpouring of love. I am a very reflective type person, so I am constantly reflecting on every event that I am involved in, every person that I meet, every conversation that I have, every church sermon I hear, every movie I see, every text or phone call I receive and I keep a mental journal, because I am not that good in writing things down relative to recording my daily thoughts in a daily diary. My mother for years who lives in Northern New Jersey would call me every day and she would recite these long extended prayers and she would always ended with in the name of Jesus!!!!!!!!!. And trust me my momma can pray.

The medical team would come by each morning to make their daily rounds and they would say my family member, how are you doing today? and he would answer, Doc. I am prayed up. But during these hospital visitation I would make my rounds every day (LOL) and check on the other patients. There were a lot of sick people who were hospitalized and were suffering from heart disease, kidney disease, suffering from various types of cancers, lung disease, obesity, etc. Thus, I knew that we as black people were being plagued by these debilitating and killer diseases more than any other race. We meaning black people, we do not like to talk about the importance of good health and nutrition, but what we eat and consume is taking us to an early grave. Our mortality rate have negatively increased within last 30 years, which has negatively impacted our overall life expectancy rate.

This translate to mean that my generation will not out live our parents and another very sad statistics is that our children will not out live us. Brother and sisters, we are in trouble and in a time of crisis. Many traditional black communities are located in Food Deserts, which means that there are very few good wholesome food markets where our people can purchase wholesome affordable foods that are non-Genetically Modified Organism (GMO), thus food that has not been genetically altered and chemically produced and treated with dangerous-poisonous pesticides. These type produced foods are highly toxic, but they make their way into the market place (often shipped to the poorest communities that fits a certain demographic). I am here to tell you and inform my community, that what we eat have long term and short term implications on our health. You should eat nothing but organic fruits and vegetables, and ask whether or not these produce are GMO grown, if so run the other way. Do not eat any fish that has been tagged farm raise this fish is very dangerous for your health, because it is toxic. Look to purchase salmon that is labled wild Alaskan caught and wild caught sardienes ( certain fish is high in Omega 3 oils and have been known to prevent certain cancers).

Black women are dying at an alarming rate from breast cancer and black man are dying equally at an alarming rate of heart disease and prostrate cancer. We have become an obese society overweight, not only are we consuming to much food, but the wrong types foods. Many of us are still eating pork, beef, chicken in which our poultry and cattle have been injected with artificial hormones and poisonous enzymes to fatten them up for the markets. We have been eating posinious animal flesh and fail to see the connection to heart disesase, diabetes, and cancers (all of this is interrelated); you cannot depend on the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and/or United States Department of Agriculature (USDA) to oversee and police the pharmaceutical and  food industry thus this is ultimately about big money and capitalist interest and oftentimes the USDA is in cohorts with the big conglomerate food producers and growers. Your health in the United States plays out as a distance second to those who seek profit over insuring that the American people are getting high quality food.

I am tired of attending funerals of our people dying prematurely from these dreaded diseases, that have been created in the laboratory of the wickedly wise. Many of us have adopted this insane axiom that my whole family was raised off pork and my grandmother lived to be 100 years old eating pork but there are people in the Bible that lived to be 900 years old (so in comparison to the biblical truths your grandmamma lived a relatively short life). We are dying extremely to young. What are we eating fatty foods (that is high in calories and often low in nutritional value); here is a quick tip if you buy rice, sugar, flour, etc. if it is white in coloring it has been bleached and is automatically bad for you to eat; purchase organic brown staples and stay completely away from white anything--Organic Basmati whole grain rice, which is much better for you to eat.

I know some of us are shy about going to these Asian markets (please checking out the Indian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese grocers and Latinos markets--trust me start shopping with them, in particular go into their natural herbs and herbal product section (you will find an abundance of herbs medicinal spices--also African and Caribbean stores have good herbal sections as well) . They have food and medicinal herbs and products that have been used for healing for thousands of years--Royal Jelly and Tea Tree Oil, Golden Seal (what I call food medicines). When you see these international markets go in there and shop (some of them are better than health food stores and the pricing is much fairer than Whole Foods or Trader Joes).

The best remedy for common cold is ECHINACEA, Cinnamon root, Ginger, and organic lemon. If need something to keep you regulated there is a herbal remedy called CASCARA SAGRADA (take at night and position yourself by the bathroom in the morning) taking ex-lax and other drugs for constipation says that you are fully of sh... and you are poisoning your body. You should have at least three bowel movements per day these synthetic chemical drugs are negatively affecting our digestive tract and is the root cause of digestive system cancers (pancreatic cancers, colon cancer and rectum cancer). Now, what I really recommend in these cases are to eat more organic and non-GMO fruits and vegetables and get yourselves on a high fiber diet (unbleached whole wheat, beans, grains, raisins, dates, certain nuts and eat plenty of organic leafy vegetables that well create the roughage you need to properly help you digest your food and create better bowel movements (drink plenty of water).

I am your brother and I pleading with you to stop cooking and eating fried food today that grease only helps clog up our arteries and contributes to heart disease (you should use extra virgin olive oil because Hydrogenated oil contains trans fats and this is artery blocker and a killer). Your health is the most important thing in your life, it does not care about how much money you have without good health you have nothing. The Chinese taught us about ginger root (eleuthero ginger) every household should keep plenty of ginger (the healing principles are invaluable).

The United States has corrupted the balance of nature and disrupted the ecological system so much that the universe is starting to turn on man; the bees are becoming extinct and our crops are not being pollinated as they once were, because the use of pesticides have killed off the honey bees and now they have to import bees from other parts of the world and even have bee farms. Help me lord we are in trouble. The best honey is ORGANIC WILD COLLECTED RAW HONEY and another good sweetner is EGAGVE.

Brothers and Sisters find you a good Homeopathic practitioner who practice alternative medicine. The next thing is to invest in a good juicer and/or blender that you can start taking organic carrots, organic celery, organic apples and wheat grass in blend wholesome drinks and stop sugar drinks today and you will see immediately weight lost because often diseses all feed off sugar in your system. When my daughter was an infant, she would be whining and would be having a difficult time going to sleep there is a natural soothing tea called catnip tea (very natural and it works like a sedative). You should never give your babies formula or cow milk--the best milk for your babies is the breast milk that God has giving to you as mothers (no substitutes nursing your babies) the nipple suckling even helps heal the woman's womb after child's birth, if you eat a vegan and/or vegetarian diet your babies will never be sick with colds, colliclky, and high fevers. Stop feeding and giving your babies this poisonous formula and we do not know whats in those manufactured cans. It is a damn shame that in some counties and socities in Europe the woman is giving two years of maternity leave in order to tend to her needs and baby needs--this is a very humane gesture and in the United States our women get six to eight weeks this is not enough time for the woman to bond with her baby.

Aloe Vera plant it has many medicinal usages (you can drink certain type Alea Vera or used it as a healing cream and moisturizer a lot of good medical principles in this plant), Shea Butter if you have rashes and skin problems such as eczema it works miracles. But often it you are experiencing skin and rash disorders you probably have way to much acidic food intake and you definitely are not consuming enough distilled water (the best water is pure well water from the country or from some uncontaminated water mountainous stream). Our bodies is over 75 percent water; you must drink plenty of water.

Black children having Attention Defecit Disorder (ADD), Down Syndrome, Autism, etc. (these conditions are correlated to the food our children are eating, which often is fast food and cookware where we are preparing the food in aluminum cookware--throw them pots out today (the aluminum gets into your food and it is poisonous). What our children eat not only affects behavior but it impacts I.Q. and intelligence. I know this is going to take some aback, but you should never allow your children to be inoculated and vaccinated; some may say this is ridicules,  if you think so just Google search the Tuskegee Experiment and start reading about the Tuskegee Expeiment in which the United States Government was behind thousands of  black men be giving Syphillis and allowed to go back to the black community to contaminate their woman with venereal disease  (STD). I called it genocide. Just recently from the highest levels of government in the State of Michigan that systematically allowed private and municipal entities to supply the people of Flint, Michigan with poisonous lead based water; our people were allowed to consume deadly carcinogen and contaminated drinking water so don't tell me what the government will not do.

Every kitchen should have some of the basic herbs such as rosemary, sage, garlic, cayenee pepper, organic onions and of the most powerful herbs that should be used in the kitchen is Turmeric (it has a lot of medicinal principles) and very next thing you should do is throw all your salt in the trash, I do not care if its Sea Salt or what ever type salt all salt is extremely bad for your health. But those that got to have that salt taste try Braggs (liquid Aminos All Purpose Seasoning). I am sorry to inform you brothers and sisters all meat products are dangerous (and in this day and time it is ill-advised to continue eating flesh and continue expecting good results in which this is contributing to our  community dying of preventable illiness and diseases, because we have contracted heart disease, diabetes and cancer (most of these aliments can be preventable and controlled by proper diet and nutrion); moreover, we can end some of this today by just changing how we eat (also we should fast three days out of each month).

They load our communities up with fastfood restaurants (it only means fast death), Mc Donald's, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Cookout, Churches Chicken,Wendys, Dominos, Papa Johns, Zaxby's, Chick-fil-A, and you wonder why your children are getting their menstrual periods at seven and eight years old and are growing breast at seven, it is because of the hormone and enzyme injected food that you are giving them (we are sentencing our children to an early death) and many of them are obese. Mommas and daddys it is time to get back into the kitchen and start cooking and preparing your own foods. Thus, get your mouths out of the enemies kitchens and by not cooking anymore we are sentencing our family to a death sentence, we can beat cancer diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease, hypertension, etc., and any other chronic diseases.

My Analysis on the United States and Cuba ’s New Diplomatic Relations

My Analysis on the United States and Cuba ’s New Diplomatic Relations and Foreign Policy Initiatives: What Will the Cuban Youth Have to Say About this New Course?

By Fahim A. Knight-El

Image result for IMAGES AND PICTURES OF CUBA

I have always had a political and culture infatuation with the island nation of Cuba . I became exposed to a book some years ago titled, "Assata: An Autobiography", written by an African American woman named Assata Shakur (aka JoAnne Chesimard) and I have had this book in my library for number of years and I put it on my reading list to re-read based on new current international political events that have taking place between the United States and Cuba. Assata Shakur was a former Black Liberation Army member who was convicted of killing a white New Jersey State Police officer on the New Jersey Turnpike in the early 1970s and was sentenced in a federal court to serve a life of incarceration and has now lived in exile for over 40 years.

She escaped from a woman’s federal prison in Morganton, West Virginia . It was her book titled, "Assata: An Autobiography", that inspired me to wanting to know more about the political, economic and social landscape of Cuba and its people. Shakur was considered to be a militant revolutionary activist who was deeply engaged in the Black Liberation movement and struggle in the late 1960s and 1970s (that perhaps was inspired by the Black Power movement led by Black Panthers organizers Huey P. Newton and Bobby Seales and Stokely Carmichael who radicalized the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee). Upon her escape from U.S. federal custody, she was granted political asylum from President Fidel Castro and has lived in exile in Cuba for close to forty years.

Thus, as Cuba opens up, I would like to be engaged in a fact find mission and to do a documentary of sort, in particular focusing on the Cuban youth and talking with the young people of Cuba and getting their viewpoint on what it’s like living under a Socialist government, but exploring these set of questions strictly from the minds of the Cuban youth. And getting their perspectives relative to assessing and evaluating the Socialist ideology from a political, economic and social vanish point, as well as, getting their views on the United States inspired Hip-Hop culture. Furthermore, exploring what’s been the culture impact Hip-Hop has had on the Cuban youth relative to analyzing both the social and political influences the genre have implored around the world. I would also like to engage the Cuban youth on their perception of the recent so-called normalized and diplomatic relations with the United States (pros and con analysis). And how they felt about the prior economic sanctions and embargoes that had been imposed against Cuba for over fifty years, now that they are being uplifted and do they feel that these new U.S-Cuba foreign policy initiatives will benefit the Cuban people.

I would also like to know, from the Cuban youth about their views and perspectives on their past leader and Commandeer Fidel Castro (the standard bearer of the revolution) who was viewed by some of the outside world as a controversial leader ever since he took office in 1959, and just how much they know about the Cuban Revolution (based on the demographics that I would like to speak to none of them would have been born when Castro overthrew the former Cuban leader Fulgencio Batista). And what are their perspectives on American style Democracy and would they like visiting the United States in order to get a firsthand view of the American people and the American culture.

I would like to use my activism and social agitation knowledge and energy to encourage the Cuban Government and the United States Government, as well as the United States educational institutions of higher learning to consider the educational benefits of pursing a student exchange initiatives with Cuba . I would begin by lobbing American universities and colleges board of governors and/or the board of regents to do everything in their powers to work towards establishing an educational pilot program that is based on a student exchange initiatives between the two nations, which would allow both nations (Cuban and American) university level students to get the international experience of studying abroad. Also, I would use my activism experience to galvanize alliances with progressive groups and organizations in order to work in corroboration and perhaps the idea would eventually expand to all levels of our society.

We no longer can allow isolationism, as it has done over the last 50 years to deny us as Americans and Cubans who are in such close geographic proximity of having friendly and mutual relations with this Latin American nation, being just 90 miles away from Florida and not to have had normalized relations for over five decades was politically ludicrous. In addition, my daughter is a African dancer and my son is an African drummer and they too would also like use her involvement in the arts and studying African dance under the world renowned African dance chirographer Chuck Davis (He has been the face of African dance in Durham for over 40 years and is considered a master African dance instructor and professor Emeritus) and create cultural exchanges and talking points with such a culturally rich nation. They are interested in breakdown any visible political or invisible culture barriers by using the arts to neutralize political impediments and differences by evoking culture initiatives and would like to choreograph dances that speak to the universality of the arts.

It has become a sense of urgency for me, personally, because I would like to be engaged in my study and research before the capitalist and the big corporate conglomerates begin their possible remake of this island nation, which appeared to have stood still politically, economically, and socially for over fifty year (and in doing so, it has preserved the integrity of the people and culture). I know with the new political relations that now exist between Havana and the United States government, it’s going to inspire corporate interest and perhaps provide increasing international business interest in Cuba. This island nation that has somewhat lingered in obscurity for over a half of century, is now receiving a lot of attention from the United States and the western world; this is mainly because of the new diplomacy agreements that President Barack Obama and President Raul Castro have signed on to. I personally think it is a mistake for Cuba to go down this course with the United States Government and we can only hope and pray that this new diplomacy course does not turn out to be reactionary and lead to the betrayal of the revolutionary principles, which has come define this Island nation for over 55 years.

But they are not obligated to use the same strategies and tactics of previous comrades, but they do have an obligation and duty to review the past struggles; either to confirm those principles and tenets as being valid or determine them as being flawed. Only history will provide us with the proof that an organization or movement has met the standards of being classified as progressive and worked in the interests of the people’s revolution. And yet simultaneously, it also, allows us the ability to analyze them to determine if they were reactionary and contradictory and will have a counter-revolutionary affect on the present day struggle and must be dismissed. Perhaps some would argue that the time has come for the United States and Cuba to redefine history and in lieu of progressive foreign and international policy to abandon this policy that was rooted in old era of the Cold War in particular the international politics that were aligned to the former Soviet Union (or Warsaw Nations) and those nations who tied to the United States and the West via NATO.

This new international diplomatic legislation and foreign policy course between the United States and Cuba, has given proof positive and confidence in how important these present foreign policy initiatives were so long over due—this is evident in the renewed interest in Cuban tourism by the American people and people from around the world, is trying to get a firsthand look at this once isolated Socialist country. However, I would also like to inspire the Cuban youth to view their nation (preserved culture as their national treasure) and do everything in their power to protect it. But I know the digital and information age have created technological advantages and as this Socialist nation continues to evolve, it is just a matter of time that the tech giants will be in Cuba—and as they embrace the global society this will create a new Cuba. The coming of social media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Vine, etc., and Internet functions without borders and there is no doubt the informational superhighway will create a high level of excitement amongst the young Cuban population (for better or worse).

Yet, the preserved architecture heritage of Cuba should not be negated or overlooked and in my opinion, must remain a priority, because it is indeed a national treasure (that has international cultural and artistic implications) and they must be willing to continue to preserve the architecture beauty and the historical value it has relative to past structural designs and the colonial building styles in which some of the edifices go back to 16th and 17th century when the Spanish occupiers had colonized Cuba.

I would guess that as Cuba continues to open up; those builders and developers that specializes in creating exquisite resorts and five star hotels plans, perhaps are already on the drawing board along with other ideas to attract and enhance tourism, as well as seeking to economically exploit the projected business interest that a new Cuba will bring—the beach front properties and shorelines with sprawling hotels, restaurants and condos will be the new architecture designs and models. Surely, this type of business interest will increase revenue into Cuba ’s weak and struggling economy, but it will come with a hefty price whereas venture capitalist will put making money over Cuba ’s historical preservation and pristine value. I pray to God that I am able to experience Cuba as it is today and before the new development take place and conduct my study prior to the island becoming completely influenced by U.S. and Western culture. I do not want a tainted view of Cuba , but my interest is the old Cuba that still exists today as I write this blog.

Also, I have read Eric Williams book titled, "Capitalism and Slavery", and he delved into the economic impact the Transatlantic slave trade had on Cuba, in particular and Caribbean nations in general, I have read where Cuba in 1925 was ninety (90) percent black and African in which I am equally intrigued with the Afro-Cuban experience and the culture linkages between indigenous African culture and Africans who were displaced throughout the Diaspora. I still think that historians, archaeologists, anthropologists, paleontologist, sociologist and social scientist in general, still have a lot to learn about the Cuban society and its people. Also I would like to hear the Cuban youth views on race and racism, in particular knowing that the Cuban people have a large spectrum of colors and hues that makes up the nation of Cuba . There is no doubt, that the past miscegenation practices and/or rape of African women and indigenous women of that region by the Spaniards (ethnic and racial foot prints), which have left a light skinned mulatto Cuban and there are those Cubans who are very dark skinned and it is evident that they are closely akin to the former African slaves.

I would like to conduct an empirical investigational study on race and race relations in Cuba in order to determine does racism exist and does it have the same affect as American style racism. I believe the Cuban youth will speak with honesty and candor about issues of race. Now, going briefly back to the exiled and self proclaimed prisoner of war and revolutionist Assata Shakur; I would like to remain optimistic, that if the U.S and Cuba signs an extradition treaty, it would not include the Cubans turning over Assata Shakur and putting her in the grasp of the long arms of Homeland Security and the U.S. Patriot Act. I am of opinion, that her international legal status must have the proper international clarity as these two nations moves forward in normalizing relations.

The potential of removing Shakur’s protected exile status in which the Cuban Government has provided her with for over four decades would be unthinkable. Moreover, anything other than this position could jeopardize and compromise her international protection from the long arm of the United States Government. This would be a political travesty for the former U.S. prisoner of war by potentially allowing the U.S. government to take international legal custody of Shakur and further allowing her to becoming a political casualty of the new U.S. and Cuba foreign policy. This would be an act of political betrayal and would not represent the long term commitment and relations the nation of Cuba and Castro have had with revolutionaries and political prisoners from around the world. Thus, forty years later, she still would not get a fair trial under the United States jurisprudence system. Lastly, African Americans and all people of goodwill should be lobbying the United States Government and petitioning President Barack Obama to issue Assata Shakur a presidential pardon and commute her sentence.

MOORISH AMERICAN QUEST FOR INDEPENDENTS AND A NATIONALITY: THE PENDING QUESTION TO FREEDOM

Moorish American Quest for independents and a Nationality: The Pending Question to Freedom

By Fahim A. Knight-El

Image result for images of moorish science temple and noble drew ali

Let me first go on public record and state that I am not a Grand Sheik nor am I an authority on Moorish Science jurisprudence and/or historical authority on the doctrines, philosophy, theology, law, etc., pertaining to the various Moorish ideological movements and temples (I hold no position as a Moorish Science representative; I am writing this article strictly as a layperson). But I started looking at the Moorish sovereignty and nationality argument a little closer when Dr. Malachi Z. York-El, the enigmatic leader of the United Nuwaubian Nation of Moors who was indicted and convicted within U.S. Federal Courts in 2004, and proclaimed his racial and ethnic linage (and/or nationality) of being Moor, indigenous American and having ancestral roots to the Aboriginals known as the Native Americans (York-El even had lawful international documentation (passport and dual citizenship) that he was a Liberian (West African) diplomat and a Liberian national in which the former Liberian Senator Francis Y.S. Garlawolu was there in the U.S. Court to validate Dr. York’s claim). There have been more qualified and authentic Muur defendants than York-El who had made similar legal arguments within the United States Courts over the years and many Muurs perhaps saw Dr. York’s plea as a mere opportunist who only used this legal strategy in an attempt to avoid prosecution. But Dr. York’s case led me to assess and evaluate, as well as, investigate the question of nationality relative to those known in the United States of America as so-called ‘African Americans’ who now number over 50 million descendants of Muurs ancestry.

York challenged and put forth an unsuccessful legal argument that as a foreign diplomat he was immune to being held in U.S. custody and prosecuted under the U. S. jurisprudence system and should have been turned over to the Liberian Consulate and Embassy in Washington DC. as any other foreign diplomat who were arrested under U.S. Jurisdictional law (Dr. York was right in many ways); Dr. Malachi York-El during his hearing in U.S. Federal Court in 2004 stated: “"Your Honor, with all due respects to your government, your nation, and your court, we the indigenous people of this land have our own rights, accepted sovereign, our own governments. We are a sovereign people, Yamassee, Native American Creeks, Seminole, Washitaw Mound Builders. And all I'm asking is that the Court recognize that I am an indigenous person. Your court does not have jurisdiction over me. I should be transferred to the Moors Cherokee Council Court in which I will get a trial by juries of my peers. I cannot get a fair trial, Your Honor, if I'm being tried by the settlers or the confederates. I have to be tried by Native Americans as a Native American. That's my inalienable rights, and it's on record.”

York-El claimed to have been a Moorish diplomatic (of Muur nationality and citizenry, and not an American citizen) as I stated above during his unsuccessful Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) trial that involved many counts of sexual molestation allegations. He and his legal team were of the opinion that he should have been afforded and granted diplomatic immunity from these charges—freed and allowed to return to Africa or perhaps turned over to a Native American tribal council (York’s arrest was a violation of his Habeas corpus rights) but the U.S. courts rejected Dr. York's legal defense because I believe that his defense team led by Attorney Malik Zulu Shabazz did not understand the depth of York's nationality claim, it was even bigger than York himself it involved a 400 year redress of high crimes against humanity and they were not going let the cat out the bag because of the collective legal implications it would have on reshaping the Muurs (40-50 so-called American Negroes of the United States of America) quest for not only a nationality, which would have included reparations and a mandate to turn over historical sovereign lands belonging to those Muurs who arrived to the Americas long before Christopher Columbus. The Moors question the legitimacy of the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution and whether not the so-called Negroes were ever given the lawful opportunity to question and make the decision to be recognized as a so-called American; their U.S. citizenship status was given to them by their former slave masters. Let me also be clear this article is not about Dr. Malachi York-El, I am only using his case as a prologue to discuss Muurs nationality, sovereignty, reparation and independence.

President Abraham Lincoln in the Lincoln-Douglas debate on September 18, 1858 stated:   "I will say then that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races, [applause]—that I am not nor ever have been in favor of making voters or jurors of negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I believe will forever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality. And inasmuch as they cannot so live, while they do remain together there must be the position of superior and inferior, and I as much as any other man am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race.”

However, I think Dr. York did not totally understand the gravity of the Uniform Commercial Code; the United States by law is a corporation and either in 1913 or 1933 is when the United Stated Government and/or the governmental corporation abandoned the gold standard currency system, thus, all printed U.S. currency, which use to be backed by gold and silver no longer existed, but the U.S. monetary system for over 80 years had been propped up by the Straw man deception  (the legal battles of thereunto would even alter how sovereignty and writs and petition would be received in United States Courts (relative to martial law versus civil law) and this also would impact the interpretative question of nationality from a constitutional perspective.  If one legal case of Moorish nationality is won in United Nations international court of law, it will forever change and alter our collective paradigm and position in the world and justify the so-called American Negro quest for reparations and insure a present and future identifiable nationality parlayed by the right to self-determination (affirmation and proclamation of freedom beyond the 13th Amendment) —the quest would be a testament tied to war crimes committed by the United States, Belgium, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany, United Kingdom, etc., who were active participants in the Transatlantic Slave Trade and the Middle Passage who knowingly and willingly committed acts of genocide that was inflicted on a people for over 310 years, which involved the buying and selling and enslavement over 100 million Africans, a gross and horrific violation of the African descendents human rights.

I do not mean going to civil court and petitioning as an individual to wear a Moorish identity; in particular “Bey” or “El” or any surname that separates and denotes historical, genetic and cultural links beyond our Negro status in America, this would only be considered a miscued victory (these are only small personal legal victories which will impact adherents of the Moorish Science doctrine but will not determine U.S. and international policy relative to our people of the Diasporas). The legal battle for a nationality will be the most challenging because the slave masters and the captives created long term systemic practices to disconnect blacks from their Moorish history and tradition—denied the right to speak their native tongues, forced to accept European names, divided and scattered from their original descendent lands, given the slave master’s religion of Christianity and made us into Negroes. Now, the so-called American Negro for 400 years still remain unsettled, divested and stripped of their birth rights (this dehumanization plan had many intents free labor, and genocide was the ultimate objective).

This international legal battle  will set a lawful precedent (to ensue a historical declaration as original claimants of indigenous Moorish ancestry which to force the United States Government (and Allies) dating back to the 1440s and returning all seize assets, property rights, land (held by the Bank of England and the U.S. Federal Reserve) and would even grant Muurs, African Americans, Negroes, Blacks, Ethiopians, Colored, Asiatics, etc., entitlement to the gold and silver housed in vaults in Fort Knox, Kentucky, which was accumulated from 310 years of slave labor and stolen resources from the inhabitants of the Muurs biological kin the so-called Native Americans. However, I am not optimistic that this would ever occur, because it would take a comparable fighting machine equal and/or superior to the U.S. military and without a military to enforce a U.S. Supreme Court or a United Nations decision to ensure compliance to repatriate the original indigenous Moors (this argument would be met on deaf ears). The quest for freedom, justice and equality as a people who have been denied a divine and lawful right to a nationality still remains lingering.

Nevertheless, the Moorish argument will continue to be an uphill political, economic and social battle within the legal schools thought but it is gaining traction. We all have become collateral and our birth certificates were used as asset leverages in which private bankers working in conjunction with the United States Government has redeemed over $650.000 dollars per citizen (some scholars have argued that this amount has ballooned to over 7 million dollars) this redeemable money is tied to your sovereignty; thus U.S. Currency now function as Fiat currency (the money has no real value) in which the ‘money’ or monetary exchange has been reduced to a Federal Reserve note that cannot be redeemed for gold or silver. The ‘Banksters’ turned its citizens into instrument of commodity and created a Strawman economy. Brother Knight-El, what does this have to do with sovereignty and nationality? Prophet Noble Drew Ali understood before his death in 1929 that the so-called American Negroes and Asiatics by law (Blacks Law dictionary defines the difference between what is law and what is legal) that our sovereignty would be tied to nationality and he strategically and legally created a religious domicile under the heading of the Moorish Science Temple of America Incorporated; this is some heavy information and some of it is even over my head as a layperson historian. The strawman was/is a fictional person(s) who has no true identity (yet U.S. citizens birth certificates are traded like stocks and bonds and those Invisible Rulers on Wall Street have systematically withheld your right and our right as a people to declare our nationality as Muurs descendants).

We have sought and declared our rights to a nationality in order sit amongst other nations of the earth as members of the United Nations (we have never sat in the U.N. as an independent and sovereign nation of indigenous people). The entire straw man concept and how we as U.S. citizens are traded as stocks and commodity is essentially based on us never declaring the legal and monetary value of our birth certificates and how the United States serve as a Corporation (pursuant to serving as the legal beneficiary) and many of us have involuntarily signed on and the 14th amendment of the United States Constitution is the lock and key. So unless we decipher the United States Constitution and prove that the Federal Reserve System functions outside of U.S. Law and as a private central bank holds the key to making us financially whole because what they established on Jekyll Island off the coast of Georgia in 1913 was one of the greatest silent Coup d'état and crimes ever committed against the citizens of the United States of America.  The Moors of the Americas claim to have signed legislation that gives them the rights to be recognized as a separate nationality from ex-slaves so-called American Negroes (the so-called American Negro sold his birthrights under the 13th Amendment, 14TH Amendment, and 15TH Amendment to the U.S. Constitution).

We must revisited the legal treaties and legal agreements that were signed between the top level United States Government officials and Moors; Ali wrote about these national and international pacts between the indigenous people who were kidnapped and brought to the shores of the Americas and the eventual diplomacy between the white man and the Blackmoors. Although, our revolutionary scholars have always argued that the original people were in the Americas long before the European expedition voyages. However, even in 2016, we as a scattered, homeless and vagabond people still do not have a collective and agreed nationality in which is recognized by the United Nations (perhaps this is the biggest piece to the Moorish argument and in my opinion will be an uphill battle).

I actually mentioned this point in a previous article that I had written on April 6, 2014 on the Muurs titled, “Moorish American Sovereignty: Myth or Reality.”  Some years ago Minister Silis Muhammad (leader of the Lost-Found Nation of Islam in the West headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia) had petition the United Nations Human Rights Commission on behalf of 40-50 million Diasporian Africans who he deemed were victims of Chattel Slavery relative to receiving some of the worst human brutality and dehumanization treatment comparable to none on the earth when you look at the effects this had on the original people for 310 years.

Minister Muhammad charged the European nations and the United States with participating in genocide, ethno-genocide and crimes against humanity. He and his team of lawyers filed their legal grievances with the U.N. Human Rights Commission only to be denied because the so-called Negroes of America had no agreed nationality or identity that was accepted by the United Nations and therefore there petition was denied. Minister Muhammad re-filed his petition declaring black Americans under a new nationality called "Afro Descendants" in order to move this legal maneuver forward.

Prophet Noble Drew Ali issued the Moorish Science Temple of America, Inc. 'Nationality Cards', which stated, "This is your nationality and identification card for the Moorish Science Temple of America, and birthrights for the Moorish Americans, etc. We honor all of the Divine Prophets: Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha, and Confucius. May the blessings of the God of our father Allah, be upon you that carry this card. I do hereby declare that you are a Moslem under the Divine Laws of the Holy Koran of Mecca. Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom and Justice."

I was turned on to  Brother Prince Uriel Bey's works (a Moorish Science scholar and philosopher and peace be unto him and may Allah look favorably upon him) by a brother named Fennell Bey and since May 6, 2016, we had established a line of communication. He started sending me Youtube clips and provocative articles, which was definitely outside the box type information. I owe a debt of gratitude to brother Fennell Bey for finding me worthy to share wisdom that was rooted in the deep esoteric and Mysticism of the Moorish Science doctrine and philosophical teachings. I also owe him an apology because I got so busy that I could not answer all his emails, but I am grateful for this brother and his patience he instructed me to read all Prince Uriel Bey’s (up until that point I had never heard of Brother Prince Uriel Bey or his works) work titled, The Consecrated Talisman 'Salmagundi' - The Pi Exponent, Oeconomicus, Artificium Et Commercium and Atmaurium Matria Mea (My Country Atmaurium) I consider myself to be a novice and to weigh in on Brother Bey’s scholarship, it might be prematurely for me to give a complete analysis.

Even as I write this article I probably would have to better familiarize myself with his extensive views on ancient history, theological events and geography, racial and ethnic indexing, anthropology, archeology, and his deeper understanding of Moorish and United States jurisprudence—comparative and legal historical contracts that have been written signed and overstanding his views on Sovereignty. Moreover, since he was hedging on practical and esoteric views about the interconnectedness of the Moabites and linking geopolitical ties between  lands, languages, racial, etc., indexing between those inhabitants of Iberian Peninsula, which I am assuming their ethno/racial lines between the original inhabitants of Iberia and those original people who occupied the Americas (were in his contentions are of kinship people), perhaps over 16,000 years before the Caucasians arrived these ancient black people were in North America and South America.

From the Book “The Consecrated Talisman ‘Salmagundi’ The Pi Exponent, page 208 stated: “Caput Una…Ancient Moorish – American Land Documents One of the earliest Moorish (Canaanite – Poenicium) documents pertaining to the right, possession and inhabitation of land by blood in the Americas; describing the Annexation of the American Continent to the Iberian Peninsula, both, being of the Present Moorish and Ancient Carthaginian Empire, is the Bourne Stone, in Komassakumkanit Cape Code Bay New England Massachusetts, which exhibits and identifies the Moorish Seal of Hanno-Bey Circa 500 B.C., written or inscribed in North Semitic Iberian-Punic Script, which is a later form of the Moabite Characters, as the Moorish (Moabite and Canaanite) are known to have carried their Semitic Tongue to Spain.  Evidence of these Ancient Moorish Documents can be found in the Archives of the Bourne Historical Society, 2) the ‘Book of Ballymote’ – an archaic and rare manuscript housed in the libraries of the Bishops of the Roman Catholic Church; containing priceless information on the Ancient Ogam writings”.

He also extended the Moorish and Moabite ethnic and historical presences to be geographically very expansive (now, some of this information does have scholarly and historical precedent and I am pointing this fact out more as references than me attempting to diminish this brother's credibility as a scholars and what he has offered in his works). I think his overall scholarship rest on many conscious and revolutionary scholars that had gone before him (and he drew upon many of them and yet his information did not just parrot the black scholars who addressed these similar histories, which makes his work intellectually phenomenon and possess a sense of originality). For example, Drusillia Dunjee Houston book titled, "Wonderful Ethiopians of the Ancient Cushite Empire", and I see Brother Uriel Bey expanding on Chancellor Williams' book titled, "Destruction of Black Civilization: Great Issues of Race from 4500 B.C." and also the works of J.A. Rogers three volume set titled, "Sex and Race" ; I see Cheikh Anta Diop works titled, "African Origin of Civilization: Myth or Reality" and "Civilization and Barbarism", Sterling Means work titled, "Ethiopia and the Missing Link in African History" and Ivansetima works "Africa's Presences in Early Asia" and "They Came before Columbus". Also, I can see the works of Rudolph Windsor titled, "From Babylon to Timbuktu: A History of the Ancient Black Races Including the Black Hebrews" and "The Valley of the Dry Bones: The Conditions That Face Black People in America Today"; Michael Bradley's "The Iceman Inheritance," as well as the works of Gerald Massey book titled, "Ancient Egypt the Light of the World" and John G. Jackson's work "Introduction to African Civilization".

I think his evidence represent a very good synthesizing of theological and political conclusions of modern and ancient sources, which has led him to various hypotheses that concluded with Moorish descendants of the ancient Moabites and/or Canaanites having lawful claims that he ties and preference directly to the teachings of Prophet Noble Drew Ali's "Circle 7 Holy Koran", which gives lawful and legal credence's to our overall question of nationality and sovereignty claims that the Prophet himself wrote about. Both Bey (the student) and the Ali the Master Teacher and Prophet both overstood that our ethnic and racial claims were directly tied to a people described in the Bible as the Moabites who linage can be traced to the so-called American Negro in America (the greatest story never told).

From page 26 we find written in “The Consecrated Talisman ‘Salmagundi’The Pi Exponent  …… “regarding the Possession and Annexation of the Americas to the Iberian Peninsula, Carthage (Tunis), Morocco, Numidia, Utica, etc., being those same possessions of North-east, and South-west Africa, including North, Central and South America, Mexico and the Atlantis Islands; serving as lawful evidence so written in the pages of the Circle 7 Holy Koran, for Moorish – Americans, etc., and further evidenced by Proclamation and Sovereign Trust for Moorish – Americans, etc., so written in the pages of the 7 part, Consecrated ‘Talisman’ of ‘The Moorish – American Society of Comprehensive Science’. Recorded as a Legal Deed and Trust Document in the Library of Congress – under Certified Registration No. TXU-1-123-633, and Control (Catalogue) Number 71-330-6977 (U), The Department of Homeland Security – U.S. Customs and Border Protection - Recordation No. COP 04-00062; Control No. 476030 LMW, and Catalogued in The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Administration – (Department of State Library – Call # BP232.U73 2004) : and is duly recognized by the said Federal corporate United States government.

There is no doubt that Brother Prince Uriel Bey is standing on the foundation of the Prophet's teachings, but like any good Adept or Neophyte he allowed his knowledge and wisdom to evolve and build sound intellectual arguments that documents via historical and theological evidence to prove the Moabite/Muur rights and humanity—he dared to point us to study his views and contentions in order to go after assets and lands (nationally and internationally) and governmental signed treaties involving territories that belongs to the original people of the earth. Now, perhaps many Muurs/Moors do not have the ability to breakdown all this comprehensive ethno/theological and legal jurisprudence language that sways between a pure theological arguments into ancient kingdoms that crosses various continents and concludes with political law that is rooted in more esoteric schools of thought.

This might be viewed by some as being more of an unorthodoxy approach to Ali's primary argument of land and nationality (and desire to have no part  in Prince Uriel Bey's Moorish Science derivation and play it safe). Thus, yet, I think it would be difficult for the average layperson Muur to understand Brother Prince Uriel Bey views, although, his philosophical and theoretical analysis makes the Muurs case on much higher and deeper levels. But may this is the cause that has hindered him from gaining attention and much traction in MSTA circles, is because of the level of the study this would involve; and as much as this information is empirical it is literary challenging and to a lesser extent is outside of the traditional Moorish dogma. The question is do many of the Sheiks and Moorish leaders have a willingness to think outside the box (I do know that in every organization there is always a 5%, 10% and 85%). I am not a Moorish scholars or an authority on Moorish Doctrine. I think this brother's work is worth further investigation in particular in the realm of Moorish Science theological jurisprudence. His works are truly HIGH SCIENCE.
